Technology and Livelihood Education and Technical Vocational Livelihood Track

 

In further pursuit of learning, SMCM opens its doors for greater innovation in terms of its crafty clienteles. A program for grades 7 to 10 was formulated and adopted to cater to the needs of students' interest:

Computer System Servicing. This includes the development of knowledge, skills and attitude in accordance with industry standards and covers basic and common competencies such as installing, maintaining, configuring and diagnosing computer systems and networks.

Cookery. This covers the learning of knowledge and skills in cooking, handling and processing of food with accordance to its chemical and physical changes.

Food and Beverages Services. This covers the training of the necessary skills in the process of preparing, presenting and serving of food and beverages.

Commercial Cooking. This makes the students skillful and knowledgeable in the use and maintenance of tools, performing mensuration and calculation and interpretation of technical drawings and plans.

Bread and Pastry Production. This includes activities that will develop students’ knowledge and skills in using tools, equipment and paraphernalia, performing mensuration and calculation and practicing Occupational Health and Safety, procedures and maintain tools (Students’ Handbook, 2017; Mercedita Reyes, 2017).

Moreover, the school, with great resources, both the faculty who are TESDA NC II holders and well-equipped TLE/HE laboratory, may even cater to establishing SMCM as a Training Center.
